I am really stuck with this one my Accent 2009 GLS has this problem were the in dash clock does not work my one rear window wont open and when i turn off the ignition i lose my info on my trip a or b and my rev counter stays at where ever it is when i turned off...

Like many Prius, mine has suffered from a persistent dash rattle. The dealer fixed it once while it was still under warranty, and it took an experienced technician several hours to disassemble the dash, fix the rattle, and put it all back together again. Eventually it started rattling again, and I have just lived with it rather than spend the time tearing apart the dash. I figured that any fix would be temporary, and I would likely cause another rattle trying to fix this one.
Well, a couple of days ago we were driving into the city. The rattle was particularly obnoxious, and seemed to be growing in intensity. I pressed on the dash in several places to see if made any difference. The rattle got louder and looser sounding, and then went "Tink!", like the sound of a falling screw, and then went silent. I can only assume that somewhere under my dash there is now a wayward screw. Hopefully it won't cause a short, but at least the rattle is gone for now.

I installed a set of bi-Xenon HIDS identical to these.
in my wife's 2008 Accent. I unplugged the DRL module as shown in a thread I found here, but now there's no high beam indicator on the dash. Is there a wire on the plug that I can put a jumper on or something to make this work again?
And before all the nay-sayers growl at me, instead of assisting with this problem, I aimed the lights really low so there's minimal glare to oncoming traffic. We drove about 125 km last night with them and never got high-beamed once.

Interesting condition I've encountered during this wonderful little mini project. I installed LED lights for my turn signals. As expected, I got hyperblinking. Just put in an LED compatible flasher (pain in the butt to install that thing...), and now my blinkers work fine, but my whole dash flashes if I signal with the rest of my lights off. Works fine if the light stalk is set to parking lights or full on.

I have an 08 Accent hatchback, no sunroof. I am having water soaking the passenger floor board and getting into the heater fan. If I park on a side hill it actually drips out of the bottom of the fan motor, and you can hear it being sprayed inside it when going around a corner. Checked the windshield - seal is good, took off the cowling under it and everything was dry - including the filter for the fresh air, so it doesn't appear to be coming down through there. I even poured about 8 gallons of water down the windshield and into the run-off channel at the bottom of the windshield and nothing seemed to get into the fan or leak into car, however, by the time I drove it home 4 hours later, it was in the fan again. Is there some other way to for it to getting to the fan? It's not coming from the door side, as it is usually dry on that side when it first starts getting wet, but rather it stars from the left of the passenger foot well.

so i had my fogs installed a week ago and today i noticed that when i drive over places that kind of vibrates the car? my fogs flashes. but other than that, they work fine. is it something i need to worry about?

Well I had the rear lower control arms replaced for the recall. My car creaks and pops when i go over uneven places like from to road to driveway or up a steep incline since the swap. the noise is loud and comes from the back of the car.

My Lexus 2013 navigation system seems to be less than reliable when it comes to finding shopping places and even other places. I was directed to a wrong place or residential area quite a few times with my nav system.
I rate the nav system as POOR in my Lexus, I am extremely disappointed and have to use a Garmin GPS to supplement the installed system.
One curious thing.... The software in dated 2011 and the car is dated 2013.

Accent 2008, 130000km
For several days my accent has quite a significant loss of power (I have trouble reaching 100km h) and the check engine is on. At the beginning I thought it was a coil that was lacking but I have verified and 4 are ok. I verified the check engine codes and got the code 420 inches and po172. po = 420 capacity threshold and lower catalyst po = 172 system too rich .... I do not know what to do with that! can you recommend me a good Mechanic on the south shore of mtl.

I took a look at a few topics regarding fuses, and pulled my fuses to see, but didn't see anything too weird.
In any case, every few days or so, I'll go to unlock my car and the keyless entry won't work. I'll open the door with my key, turn the ignition, and notice that my radio has completely reset and essentially the items power cycle, like power was lost when the car was off.
Like I mentioned, I have checked the fuses in the cabin area (but where to start for the fuses in the engine compartment).
The car is fine 99% of the time, but this really worries me, especially since I'm looking to sell the car.

I have a 97 F-150 4wd and when I drive over rough places on the road you can hear a rattling noise. It also causes my truck to thud loudly. But also as I just coast at about 10 mph with the window down you can hear that rattling noise. Almost sounds like a washer sliding on a shaft or something. You can definitely tell something is loose in the front end when i hit rough places. We've jacked it up and tried to move the wheel and the bearings and ball joints seem tight.

I have a 2006 Super Duty 6.0L, and I'm what are the two temperature gauges on the right side of the dash are? I'm sure one is engine temp, but what is the other one? Also, which gauge is which (in terms of top/bottom)?

Nothing is happening when I plug in my scan tool that I've used a million times before. I'm assuming it's a fuse but nothing listed on the fuse panel. Checked a few vague ones with no luck.

I have a 2009 Accent GLS. The PS pump has become increasingly noisy, especially when the car is first started and when the steering wheel is turned. The noise is coming from the belt and when it does this it looks like the PS pump slows down and the belt is being forced through by the water pump. I bought a new/remanuf pump; however, the PS pressure switch thread diameter is smaller than the hole in the new pump and does not fit.
I took it back and tried another pump and same problem. Looking at a pump on RockAuto, A-1 CARDONE 215473 {#571001E000, 571001G000}, this one shows a plug with a slot in the hole where the switch screws in. I am at a loss with replacing the pump when I cannot seem to find what the car came with.

I have a 2008 Accent SE and I'm having some issues... The car was driving fine the other day all the sudden check engine light came on started flashing then and just stayed on. This happen before and the car was under warranty so the dealership fixed it but now it ran out and it's happening again. Anyway the car is running very rough at idle like the car shakes and acts like it doesn't want to run. Also when driving it honestly feels like the car has no power or acceleration what so ever. I replaced the air filter with a brand new K&N filter, I also changed the spark plugs today. I put NGK's in and the problem is still the same. I had it hooked to a code reader and it said I had a misfire in cylinder 2. I thought the plugs would have fixed it but I guess not.

I have a problem with my VW Touareg 05 plate. When I turn the steering wheel full lock left or right in tight places the car shudders. It doesn't do it all the time but does appear to be getting worse as time goes on. I have been told that it may well be the Stepper motor.

I have a 2006 F250 6.0 Powerstroke which i bought in May (My first truck and also my first diesel) that I am trying to diagnose a couple problems before it gets into the colder weather. One problem being that my glow plug/WTS light does not come on. What is the possible cause for this? My glow plugs and GPCM all work fine so if there's a bulb that would be out or where the problem would be? I'd like to have this light working before winter time for obvious reasons... and another light that doesn't work that I'd like to try and figure out is the brake light that should come on when you put on your emergency brake.

My mom has a 2011 GL Hatchback about 20k km's... She decided to take my car this Saturday without telling me and I was stuck with hers.... All of a sudden the check engine comes on and at idle there is like a bogging going own. (Shaky putt-putt-putt-putt) early acceleration is lacking power and it smooths out at higher rpm's.
I can do minor things on my own like plugs and brakes, I would love to be able to get it running smooth again.

I have accent model 2008, the car has EPS (electrical power steering), Two-days ago, i was driving on high way, suddenly the EPS lit is on and the steering is jammed and i cannot turn it left or right.
I succeeded to stop and turn off then on again, the steering came back to the normal status, I called the service center who i am dealing with him, the Engineer advised me either
1)to change the EPS kit or
2)to change into hydraulic system, i.e., installing a new hydraulic system instead of the electrical one.
