View 6 RepliesHow to remove the window cranks from the door panels on the 2010 Accent. I have reaad lots about other models and can't find anything on the 2010. I purchased the cranks removal tool but it don't appear to work at all. I drop by my dealer and that was like talking to the wall, they don't know how to remove the handle.
View 6 RepliesI am the owner of a 2009 Accent L (Canadian model) sedan. I have had this car from brand new and I have had two warranty issues with this car in the last 6 months. First at approx.36000 miles (60000Km) the stop light switch started sticking, so the brake lights wouldn't work properly. The second issue was the turn signal/ headlight combo switch malfunctioned and started to smoke. The dealer replaced these under warranty after some hassles.
View 1 RepliesI have a 2005 Excursion and the A/C Control panel has been blank on 2 different occasions. Upon startup the A/C will not respond to any adjustments and is therefore turned off.
Typically if we turn the Excursion off for several hours, the A/C will start working again. Should I be concerned...
2007 accent GS check engine light will not come on the instrument panel. Showing a 650 code. What is wrong?
I bought the car a year ago. No check engine light? Could someone have dismantled the light?
I was driving my vehicle and turned a corner and the vehicle completely died. No illuminated instrument panel, power windows, radio, turn indicators, HVAC not working. Turned ignition key off and back on and blank instrument panel no information. The vehicle does not crank.
All components which do not require the ignition key turned on work fine; IE headlights (low and high beams; they are bright), emergency flashers, power mirror, power seats, brake pedal adjust, door locks (remote and from the door panel), horn, and interior lights to name a few.
Is there a relay which the ignition switch activates to provide power for all components tied to the ignition switch? If so where is it located.
How to remove the rear view mirror? I've tried pulling, turning and twisting without any success. I have become spoiled by the self dimming mirrors in my other rides and want to add one with the Home Link buttons.
View 6 RepliesThe passenger side door of my 08 Accent Hatchback got frozen after cold icy rainy night. I forced it open after few try, and found the rubber seal underneath the door was ripped off (ice in it). I put it back in, but after turn the engine on, the airbag light is on.
After some google, I think I damaged or disconnected the sensor in the passenger side door panel. How to fix it?
I own a 2001 Hyundai Accent. For some reason my front fogs lights have stopped working, i am suspecting the switch is dead because the green led does not come on when the switch is depressed, i have checked the fuse and all ok however on the fuse box/relay cover in the engine bay it says that there should be a relay (see attachment) but i don't have a relay there and never have had even when the lights worked, well at least i have never taken it out. Back to the switch, how to remove the switch from the panel so i can test the circuit with one of the other switches.
View 13 RepliesMy passenger window switch has stopped working. At first it did not want to open and close using the main switch on the driver door . (2008 1.6 3 door hatch). Then it also stopped operating on the single switch by the passenger door. Luckily its in a closed position. Is there any possible fixes, bar having to buy a new switch, as its proving hard to locate. Mostly main switches for the sedans available.
View 2 RepliesI recently bought new Accent 2011 and drove it for a couple of weeks. Couple of days ago I noticed that only one out 3 Power Window Buttons lights up with when dim lights are on. Also there are no lights for power lock bottom. Is it the way it suppose to be or it is some sort of an issue? The only reason I noticed it, is that my driver side power window button lights up and the rest don't.
View 5 RepliesI need to get to the filter in the rear ac panel. What is the best way to go about removing the Panel? How much do I have to remove?
View 6 RepliesI have an 06 sonata and have no brake lights and the constant ESC off light staying on. After reading countless threads on here I see that the brake light switch was recalled on these and this is extremely common problem with this year and model. I went to my local shop bought a brand new switch, installed it properly and still the lights won't come on. I changed the fuses as well. Emergency lights, and the tail lights when the headlights are on come on but no brake lights. My next guess is the bulbs? they look ok. But I had a dodge caravan where both bulbs went out before at the same time so is that a possibility with this?
View 3 RepliesI have access to the fuse panel but I need to remove the panel to reach the relays. I need to change the socket in the relay panel because one is burnt out. I change the K(headlight)relay and when my car is off and key out of the ignition my lights are still on.
View 10 RepliesIs it a big deal to remove the left rear interior door panel? The dealer replaced the door glass and, naturally, the tech didn't align the glass correctly. I'll align the glass myself.
View 2 RepliesI have a 2008 passat and i want to remove the driver door panel. Well I did the search found what I need to do it, but every search result says to pry off the window controls. I was tugging and pulling all this morning and never could get it off.
View 4 RepliesHow to remove the window control panel on your door panel on a 2010 prius? I'm not looking to remove the whole door panel I just want to take the little panel that has the 4 window controls off.
View 3 RepliesI attempted to remove a 7.5 amp fuse from the interior panel under the dash on the left side. Using the fuse removal tool in from the fuse block under the hood, I grabbed one and worked it out slowly.
When I got it out, the metal prongs were broken off of the plastic housing. I thought this was weird and looked into the fuse block trying to see if I can see the prongs. No luck!
I attempted to pull another fuse to see if it will come out and sure enough, the metal prongs are broken off in the fuse block. I tried again to see if I could see the the prongs but again, no luck!
I put the plastic housing (top half of the fuse) back into the slot and the electronics for that fuse is working. However, I am concerned that something is wrong and causing the fuses to break when attempting to pull them out.
Trying to remove all the lower trim on the dashboard. Have everything but the lower right portion on the drivers side. The carbon trim on there seems to be tucked under the upper part of the dashboard itself and I can't remove it. I assume there is one final screw under there?
I can pop it loose a bit on the left corner but feel if I force that trim something is going to break.
What is the easiest way to remove the panel where the light dimmer is located. I wanted to access one of the slots to put a dummy LED flashing light for deterrence purpose.
View 7 RepliesHow to remove the drivers side kick panel? It has the hood release lever, which is holding me back from figuring out how to get it off. I don't want to keep experimenting because of the chance of breaking something. I'm trying to install some after market speakers and need to get behind it to run the speaker wire to the door.
