My 09 Accent 3dr hatchback driver side window starts to hang up on something about 2/3 of the way as the window rolls down. Took to dealer, they said they had fixed it, but alas, its worse now than before.

I just bought 2008 hyundai accent with 51,000 miles and it drives great. Only issue so far is the trunk latch sticks when i open it, and i have to unstick it to close. I ordered an OEM handle from the dealer in hopes that it's the part i need. Any tips on how to replace. I pulled the trim off to look under there and spray some lubricant on it. But not sure how complicated the latch will be to replace.

I am the owner of a 2009 Accent L (Canadian model) sedan. I have had this car from brand new and I have had two warranty issues with this car in the last 6 months. First at approx.36000 miles (60000Km) the stop light switch started sticking, so the brake lights wouldn't work properly. The second issue was the turn signal/ headlight combo switch malfunctioned and started to smoke. The dealer replaced these under warranty after some hassles.

Ive been chasing a leak at the top of the trans on my 2007 Accent 2 door Hatchback. I cleaned up the area and it appears that the leak is from a seal 43126 in attached drawing. My question is can I remove the component 43801 without being in the trans, to replace this seal? Is there anything else i should inspect in there bushings, bearings etc.

I have a 2010 accent blue model with stick shift. been fine for 50k miles. Lately i have noticed an issue where i am in first gear and then when i push clutch in to go into second, the lever won't budge. it does eventually go in but it just isn't like it used to be. it happens say about 25% of the time. Since at higher rpms it won't do it but normal rpms it will.
Also, i just had a new short block installed, perhaps something is binding? If I sit in the car, stopped, i can shift into and out of all the gears perfectly. Maybe my 1st gear synchros are going?

Have 2010 Accent. Like it. BUT tire valves awkward to reach, so I put extensions to use tire gage and air pump more conveniently. When I went to take metal cover off, the whole valve broke in my hand. Cost $100.00 because sensor had to be replaced as well. Dealer would not cover cost because I had used aftermarket equipment instead of OE plastic valve cover and metal cover had corroded in place. E-mailed factory rep, got same answer.
Also, when reaching across passenger seat to wind down window, crank came off in my hand. Shoved it back on, but just recently noticed there is a bezel in door tray where it landed. Can't for life of me see where it should go.

My passenger side window is moving like a snail.
I tried both, the button on the driver side, and the one on the passenger side, and I get the same result. I also tried pulling on the door to give it more space, so it's not that it has too much pressure on it from the door. My car only has 27,000 miles on it, so the motor shouldn't be going out already. But I guess it's possible.
I'm pretty sure it's always been slower than the driver side window, but between today and yesterday, I noticed it's been getting dramatically slower every time I use it. I'm kinda' afraid to push the button to take it down now.

My passenger window switch has stopped working. At first it did not want to open and close using the main switch on the driver door . (2008 1.6 3 door hatch). Then it also stopped operating on the single switch by the passenger door. Luckily its in a closed position. Is there any possible fixes, bar having to buy a new switch, as its proving hard to locate. Mostly main switches for the sedans available.

How to remove the window cranks from the door panels on the 2010 Accent. I have reaad lots about other models and can't find anything on the 2010. I purchased the cranks removal tool but it don't appear to work at all. I drop by my dealer and that was like talking to the wall, they don't know how to remove the handle.

Today I was going to wash my car and rolled my driver's window down on the way there. When I got to the car wash I attempted to roll my driver's side window back up. It nudged ever so slightly up about a quarter inch and then nothing. It had totally stopped. I fiddled with the switch and it would go back down completely but when attempting to roll the window back up it would sometimes not move at all, move ever so slightly or move just about a quarter of an inch and stop. Is it possible to just get the window up manually in order to at least block the elements? I'm at a bit of a loss as to what I should do. I'm tempted to run to the drug store and grab some packing tape to seal the window off.

I have a 2009 Hyundai Sonata. About 3 months back I noticed that the driver side window won't come down. When the switch is first depressed, I hear a sound like the motor is trying to kick-in but the window doesn't move.
What might be wrong, what I should look for and instructions.

I recently bought a wrecked '97 Ford Explorer Sport with 51,000 miles to use as a parts car for my '97 Ford Explorer with 300,000 miles. The two front power windows in my Explorer just go "click, click, click, click..." when I try to use them, and they won't go up or down without a manual assist. The power windows in the Sport worked fine. I first replaced the motor... no improvement. Th
en I replaced the linkage with the flywheel, thinking it might be worn. No good. Then, after watching a video on youtube showing how to replace the power windows, I noticed that a new assembly comes with new tracks, so I replaced the tracks also. No go. I took the old motor and linkage and hooked it up to a 9 volt battery. It works just fine. I greased the tracks but that didn't work. I can't see anything that could be jamming the works. Fixing my windows is one of the main reasons I bought the Sport.

I recently bought new Accent 2011 and drove it for a couple of weeks. Couple of days ago I noticed that only one out 3 Power Window Buttons lights up with when dim lights are on. Also there are no lights for power lock bottom. Is it the way it suppose to be or it is some sort of an issue? The only reason I noticed it, is that my driver side power window button lights up and the rest don't.

I have a 2009 accent.. fuel pump went so I just replaced it...it pumps fuel but not getting any fuel to the cylinders...had a plug out to test the spark and it has good spark but plugs were dry and very faint fuel smell...also changed the crankshaft position sensor.. what could cause a no fuel issue??car ran fine, shut it off and no start..checked the fuel pump and it wasn't working though it had power to it...why the injectors wouldn't be working??

OK all sensors and evac valve done. No codes being pulled. No check engine light. Car starts no problem in the morning or when its been sitting but when the car has been driven to temp. I will not restart and just keeps cranking, if it starts to start it shudders and dies. I am the original owner and its had any maintenance its needed.

My hyundai accent has been giving me fits for about 6 months but I didnt think it was a major issue, apparently I am wrong. When it first started the check engine light would come on randomly and go off after a few minutes or even a day. Then it started staying on longer and when it would go off my car would stall. Then when it got cold twice I went out to warm my car before I left and when I came back out to leave it was dead, had to be jump started and while driving the first couple of miles it would die, it always cranked fine but it at lights or stop signs would die. Now it has stopped all together, it turns but wont start. I have a spark and we have tried the cam sensor and crankshaft. The fuel pump wouldn't go out while I was driving would it? or what could it be we are kind of at a loss.

2009 Accent GL Sport manual transmission. Battery keeps dying. 2 batteries over the last 9 months. This is on my son's car. Replaced battery and a few months later it's dead again. Had the system checked no drains on the battery, alternator work great. No fathom drains in the system. The car can set for a week before being driven. The only thing we can think of, because it's not driven every day, the little battery drains out by the systems in the car(clock, etc.). we think there's a .8 amp drain or less.

I have a 2009 Accent. It has a misfire on cyl 3. I've changed the spark plugs... no change. I swapped around the coils... no change. The misfire stays on cyl 3. What are my next steps to isolate and resolve this misfire?

After getting to about 1/4 tank, I fuel up and fill the tank but when I try to start the car, it cranks for a while and then finally starts. It will idle really low so I have to rev it until the engine starts getting gas at a steady pace.
