Accent MC (2006-11) :: 1.6 Motor Won't Start / No Spark - Scanner Not Linking Up

I got a 2008 accent hatch basic model. Its got the 1.6 motor with 23k miles. It will not start at the moment. Battery is good, I am getting fuel. It is not getting spark, and my scanner wont link up to it. I don't know what else to trouble shoot. I am out of warranty car is a salvage title,car ran fine until today. I am thinking the ecu fried but I don't know? All fuses good. What can i check or how do I troubleshoot?

2000 Maxima - I just changed the head gaskets, got it back together and no start, no spark, solid security light and linking error to ecu. 50 miles to a nissan dealer. I have 12v to the injectors but no ground, I just checked spark last night and have none. I tried all three keys, will no battery for a month or two cause key security issues? I hate to drag it to Nissan and have them tell me I need a new ecu for a few thousand dollars. Does a security issue cause a linking issue?

I have an OBDII reader which works for every vehicle I have tested except for my 2007 Accent H/B and my wife's 2012 Elantra sedan. In both cases I get a " linking error" message. Do Hyundai vehicles require a special code reader?

So it finally happened...One day she was working just fine and now is dead. OK, starter is working, battery is new but there's absolutely no spark on any of the spark plugs. I wonder what could it be ?

Today I bought an OBD2 scanner and was trying it on my 2001 accent but the app on the cellphone ( torque ) said : " couldn't connect ECU " . I think there is no ECU in my car, any example about trying the OBD on a 01 accent ?

My wife's 03 accent cranks over good, but won't start. It does fire some but won't start. I tried squirting starter fluid in the intake and that only made it fire less. Spark is strong on all four cylinders. At first I thought I found the problem because it had weak spark on the middle two cylinders and i replaced that coil pack and now all four are strong, but still same problem.
She drove it home and parked overnight, and in the morning it wouldn't start. I don't think it is the timing belt. I replaced it not too long ago, and I took a peak behind the top of the cover and all still appears to be as it should.
I am now at a bit of a loss. I mean it has good spark, won't start with starting fluid, so what could it be?

I have one Hyundai Accent 1.4 from 2006 gasoline with 61.000 km. I have a strange problem. Sometimes the engine car stop while driving. This problem appear when i change from 5 to 4 or from 4 to 3 with ac on. Without ac the problem not appear. If i try to start engine again he start without problem. No error storage in ECU. I replace gasoline pump but the problem appear again.

Got a 2008 Hyundai Accent. Yesterday, the blower motor just stopped working. I had just started it up, the heater came on for about five seconds. There was no noise, no funny smell, nobody had done anything to it. It just stopped. I checked the ac fuse and it looked fine. I looked in the fuse box under the hood, and I'd like to check the fusible link for the blower motor to see if it has a problem. Is this something I could do and how? Also is there anything else I can do to diagnose the cause of the problem?

I have an Accent 2008 model and i have a problem with the steering of my car. Sometimes the EPS lamp indicator turns on and the electric motor stop working. I stop the engine of my car and i turn it on again and everything is ok. Is any solution or i must change the whole steering system as Hyundai said?

In the process of rebuilding a 2007 Accent where the timing belt broke while idling.
Pulled the head, ran a "water test" on the valves (put spark plug in, pour water on the valves and see if it comes out the exhaust/intake side) and found that only 2 intake valves were belt. Also shut off all the lights in a pitch black room, shined a flashlight in the intake/exhaust and didn't see any light leak from any of the cylinders except the one with the 2 bent valves.
Does this make sense? I would assume since 2 cylinders are always TDC at once, at least 4 valves would be bent.
Lastly, before rebuild I'll be replacing the 2 intake valves, all the valve stem seals, intake manifold gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, head gasket, head bolts and valve cover gasket. Anything else I should replace on the head? Trying to keep costs down as much as possible.
To add: Pistons have no damage on them, there are no marks of the valves hitting the pistons. The timing belt was replaced after it broke and the engine still ran however it ran rough. Compression test was done on only cylinder 1&2, 1 had 60 PSI and 2 had 0 PSI. Compression test was also done by just rotating the crank with a socket since I already had some of the engine disassembled.

A friend of mine has a 2007 Accent with some scary MDPS issues. Basically it randomly freezes the steering wheel without a warning making it extremely hard to drive. He went to the dealership and since the car is without warranty they'll charge him 1200$ for repair. Is there any recall on these models for this MDPS?

when i use the squirter for the water on the windscreen i get full pressure for a second then it drops to barely any pressure at all. I thought it was the jets so i checked them with a drawing pin and they flow fine. Are there 2 motors that operate the squirter , is it likely one has gone?

I've got a 2001 1.5L Accent with about 110,xxx miles on it. The car stalled at a stoplight and would not start. Earlier that day it had been driven pretty hard for a while with very little oil.
When I turn the ignition, there is only a high pitched buzzing/whirring sound. the motor won't turn over, so I assume it's probably seized up.

I have a 2007 Lexus GS350 rear wheel drive. My battery died to this guy try to give me a jump and he connected the jumper box the wrong way, we had a little spark and then we try to connect the jumper the rite way but car will not start. I replaced the battery with a new battery, no start. the horn works but the rest is dead.
I was trying to locate a main fuse but was not able to. Do these cars have a main fuse? What should i look for.

One morning my 09' Elantra didn't start. It sounded like it was only the starter running. I checked the spark and there wasn't any. I checked the fuel injector pulse and got nothing. Occasionally I could get it to start just by trying a bunch of times but never more then once in a row (or day for that matter).
I decided to replace the Crankshaft Positioning Sensor. The first time it took a bit but started up and ran nicely, till i turned it off. Now I'm back to a no start car and again with no spark or fuel injector pulse. It does feel like it's trying to turn over just a little bit now that i replaced the sensor.

I have 06 F150 5.4L with a no start condition. The truck comes from another shop with no improvement. This is whats done so far, replaced plugs, checked the fuel control module 100% ok, we have fuel pressure at the rail, we have injector pulse ( niod light ), we have spark and we have a good battery. We tore down the timing cover because of the sound of the engine turning over like it was out of time when cranking.
We did find a tensioner totally destroyed so we replaced the timing as put it back together and replaced the oil pressure switch because we get this "low oil pressure" in the info center every time, we also get gray/black puffs of smoke out the tailpipe when turning over. So to sum it up we have spark, fuel, and battery and still nothing! We even flashed the ECU and still no fire/no start.

I have an 04 Silverado Z71. I am getting error code U1000 on my Scanner. As well as a torque converter code and a front axel code. I can not start the truck. Its as if its in a safety lock out or something.
I talked to a service tech at the lock gmc dealer and he said the U1000 code was definitely the reason it wont start. Possible bad ECM somewhere in the system.
Where can i find a full wiring schematic for my truck ?

I have a '63 Buick Wildcat that has been sitting for 17 years. It has 2 spark plugs stuck in the motor. I got the other 6 out with liquid wrench. The other 2 have been soaking in liquid wrench for 2 weeks and I have been using a 3/8 drive spark plug socket, but still unable to get them out. How to get them out?

My 2007 3.3 Sonata has begun acting up at a cold start up. The motor shakes violently and I have to cut it off and try again. It normally smooths out. This has happened intermittently two or three times in the past three years but happened twice today.
I am out of town at the moment and my wife has the car. She is worried about driving. I am thinking it is some type of sensor etc. If I knew what it was I could have her take it in and I could monitor the repair process.
